Here in Cornwall we're lucky to have a ready supply of Serpentine down the Lizard.  This relatively soft rock that mainly forms in masses, lends itself to carvings.  It comes in a variety of colours, predominatly we're familiar with the reds and greens, but there's also pale green Infinite, purple Stitchtite and the luminous green Lizardite.

Key Healing Properties:  As it's name suggest, Serpentine is valued for raising the 'serpent'  energy and kundalini - making it a stone of activation that works on all of the chakras to clear blockages.  Its qualities works in both directions, and can settle and earth energy during meditation.  Serpentine is used in the treatment of hypoglycemia and diabetes.
