Lunar Quartz
Is it worth naming new varieties of Quartz? Yes!! This recent find from Namibia has a beautiful vibration, and looks to me as a blend of all that Smoky Quartz and Rose Quartz offer. Just as Ametrine has its place in our crystal healing tool box, I believe Lunar Quartz will grow to as well. There is yet to be much written, so here is my experience.
Opaque and with a colour blend of pinky grey, Lunar Quartz is active on the heart Chakra, linking also to the Crown and Root. We think of Crown at the head and Root at the base, separate and opposite ends, yet energetically they are on a wheel, and next to each other, just as 12 and 1 on the clock. Lunar Quartz invites us to open our heart, and explore with unconditional love, that twilight in our being - the murky patches where there is no full light for us to know and reason, so that we may accept and overcome the things that hold us back from being true light beings, able to fulfil our soul purpose.
