Smoky Quartz with Fluorite

A Cornish cluster piece, with Smoky Quartz, Fluorite and those tell-tale cubic cavities of Fluorite epimorphs, created where some of the cubes of Fluorite, which is much softer than Quartz, have not withstood the rigours of time and been naturally washed away.

Smoky Quartz
The black to brown coloured quartz that occurs by natural irradiation. It imparts stillness, a grounded quietness but with the energy for change and creativity. Smoky Quartz is one of the more gentle stones of the base chakra - instilling calm in order to be grounded, and providing protection in the form of a cloak of invisibility.
